Exhibition Preview Friday 24th March 5.30pm – 8.00pm

Shirley Davis Dew a local artist and art teacher. Painting any subject in every style and in every medium. Aiming to capture light, form and movement. Art workshops are planned every Thursday through the show. For detail and to reserve a place contact 07968744703

Fangfoss Pottery is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The exhibition “Past, Present and Future” chronicles its work over the last 40 years. There will be an opportunity to see archive material from the 1970’s onwards, alongside Gerry’s modern day ceramics which are available to buy. A number of special events have been planned from March onwards and these can be found on the website – www.fangfosspottery.co.uk

Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham

Aly Bain is the best known and most significant fiddle player in the Celtic tradition. He is rightly regarded as Scotland's supreme fiddler- arguably the finest of all time. In 2013 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Phil Cunningham is a world famous accordion player and composer. In 2002 Phil received an MBE for his contribution to Scottish music. Aly launched the popular BBC TV series ‘Transatlantic Sessions’ in which he and Phil appear -including its live shows. The pair have won the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards – Best Duo Award and been nominated in the Scottish Traditional Music Awards for Live Act of the Year Together they are simply the best traditional musicians you are ever likely to hear.
