Robbie McIntosh will be teaching guitar and slide guitar.

Robbie McIntosh has legendary status among his fellow musicians. His career to date includes spells as guitarist with Sir Paul McCartney, The Pretenders, Sir Tom Jones, John Mayer and Norah Jones. Robbie has played many of the world’s top festivals and venues and among his numerous TV and radio appearances, he was with Sir Tom Jones on Jools Holland’s ‘Hootenanny’ BBC TV show on New Years Eve 2015. As a long-term member of The Pretenders, Robbie played at Live Aid in 1985 and on their hit record, Don’t Get Me Wrong. Robbie McIntosh has done session guitar work for many artists including; Aynsley Lister, Boyzone, Cher, Eric Bibb, George Martin, Chuck Berry, Joe Cocker, Daryl Hall, John Mayer, Kirsty McColl, Mike & The Mechanics, Paul Young, Paul Carrack, Mark Knopfler, Roger Daltrey, Talk Talk, Tears For Fears, Tori Amos, Sinead O’Connor and Norah Jones. As well as playing guitar for so many well known artists, Robbie takes his own special blend of music on the road with The Robbie McIntosh Band, and in trio and duo formats. With a new album on the way, in 2016 Robbie has clocked up appearances with Carlene Carter, John Illsley, Sir Tom Jones, Louise Goffin, and collaborated, once more, with Mark Knopfler. Spending time with Robbie in his classes and at the evening events will be a fantastic experience for everyone involved.

Michael Messer will be teaching slide guitar and open tuned guitar.

Michael Messer’s reputation as a virtuoso slide guitarist, singer, and blues innovator, are well known. Throughout his thirty year recording career, Michael’s music has remained individual and contemporary. His stunning slide guitar playing and superb vocals ooze authenticity and integrity, and his use of turntables in the Second Mind Band marked him as one of the trailblazers of the 21st century blues sound. Johnny Cash was a fan of Michael Messer's music and wrote the liner notes for his 1993 album Rhythm Oil. Rhythm Oil was awarded Import Album of the Year by the Austin, Texas, music press. Michael's King Guitar album reached number one in the US Living Blues chart, and Second Mind won Best International Guitar Album of the Year. His current band, Michael Messer's Mitra, is once again breaking new ground, playing an exhilarating and accessible fusion of rural blues and Hindustani classical music. Their highly acclaimed debut album, Call Of The Blues, released in February 2016, was iTunes #1 blues album, World Music Network #1 album, fRoots Playlist, Songlines Top of the World and Transglobal World Music chart #10. Michael Messer has released ten albums, toured worldwide, recorded numerous live radio/TV sessions and appeared in his own 'blues' episode of BBC TV show, Zingzillas. He also has a successful line of MM guitar products and a series of slide guitar tuition DVDs.
