Karine Polwart

Award winning Scottish folk singer-songwriter Karine Polwart’s simple but evocative style has established her as one of the genre's most respected artists. Since the release of her acclaimed fourth album This Earthly Spell in 2008 there has been a new baby, a raft of rewarding collaborations with everyone from The Burns Unit to Lau and even a stint of radio presenting. Now, Karine returns with her first ever DVD Here's Where Tomorrow Starts. Don’t miss a compelling performance from one Scotland’s finest and most captivating folk artists who will no doubt be showcasing tracks from her new, much anticipated, fifth studio album scheduled for release in summer 2012.

The Roundabout 1079 exhibition

The exhibition represents a group of forty or more artists who live and work close to the A1079. They are all members of groups headed by Jan Jones, including Seaton Ross, Pocklington and Market Weighton.

Ranging from beginners to semi-professionals, the artists’ work is diverse and original.
