vibrant colourist, Steve's paintings of the Yorkshire landscape encapsulate the
Wolds with its undulating patchwork of fields in yellows, greens and browns,
also the quaint East Coast fishing ports with boats in rich primary colours
lining the harbour walls. Steve has a passion for painting still life and
figurative work.
"I work from present day observations and my paintings are bold, bright,
colourful and slightly abstracted, but not to the point of obliterating the
subject matter."

Frankenstein - Nt Live

Originally staged and broadcast last year, Frankenstein won rave reviews
from the press and has subsequently won numerous awards, including all top UK
theatre awards (Olivier,
Evening Standard and Critic’s Choice awards). Academy Award and
BAFTA winner Danny
Boyle(127 Hours, Slumdog Millionaire) directs this visionary
production with Benedict
Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller in the lead roles.
Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein's bewildered
creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker.
Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the friendless Creature, increasingly
desperate and vengeful, determines to track down his creator and strike a
terrifying deal. Urgent concerns of scientific responsibility, parental
neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil are embedded
within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic gothic tale.
