East Riding Artists

East Riding Artists warmly invite you to this exhibition. Our theme of ‘Mixed Messages’ has been carefully chosen to allow us to show off our talents in widely various and imaginative ways. The works show a wide range of media and subject, which we hope will delight and inspire you.

Peter Heaton

Peter is an award winning artist who’s most recent work ‘Reading the Landscape’ combines black and white photography with overlaid layers of text. Time spent walking in the distinctive landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds has been distilled into a series of images that evoke the physical experience of being there and the thoughts and memories brought to the fore by these experiences. Connecting the idea of our inner landscape with the reality of outer ones.
