HOTHOUSE FLOWERS
This band will simply raise the roof! Something amazing happens when Ireland's Hothouse Flowers step onto the stage. There is a sense of musical adventure, an impulse to reach new heights and depths in music as the band and audience become one and the world becomes a different place for a while... A rock 'n' roll band, a traditional band, a soul band, a jam band with their own brand of jam on both sides of the bread! They have featured at numerous festivals including headlining the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury.

SETH LAKEMAN
We are delighted that charismatic singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Seth Lakeman will be returning to Pocklington after 2018's whirlwind world tour with rock legend Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters. During a short break from this tour Seth recorded his ninth solo album, The Well Worn Path, which has been met with rave reviews.

THE SOUTH
The South are an impressive 9 piece band who feature former members of The Beautiful South including singer Alison Wheeler and lifelong sax player Gaz Birtles. They play the songs made famous by The Beautiful South (A Little Time, Perfect 10, Rotterdam) plus a few South originals and bring back the full flavour and arrangements with this exciting live band. Come on! Let's Carry On... Regardless!

THE GRAND SLAMBOVIANS
Playing an utterly unique blend of rock and roll, folk, and quirky Americana, they have been called "the hillbilly Pink Floyd", which is an apt description, particularly if you throw in elements of Waterboys, Neil Young, Dylan, and maybe a dash of Zappa. Their live shows are where the real magic comes down, earning them critical acclaim as well as a fiercely loyal following. "Mightily impressive and hugely original rock from the cool end of Americana." - Maverick

THE DUNWELLS
Leeds-based folk-rock outfit, The Dunwells, feature a pair of siblings - Joseph (vocals, guitar) and David Dunwell (vocal, piano, banjo, guitar) - along with a pair of their school friends: Rob Clayton on bass and Adam Taylor on drums. Formed in 2009, the band specialise in lush four-part vocal harmonies and employ a heady mix of electric and acoustic instrumentation, drawing comparisons to Mumford & Sons and Fleet Foxes plus legends like the Eagles and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

THE GRAND OLD UKE OF YORK
Yorkshire's most vibrant ukulele collective. Big vocals, electronic ukes - they uke to Avicii, The Coral, Queen, ACDC, Katy Perry, The Rolling Stones, The Cure, Elvis and maybe some George Ezra! These titans of tweed, maestro's of this mini musical marvel offer a feast of festival fun!

LATE NIGHT MARAUDERS
Late Night Marauders are led by whirlwind soulstress Ruthie Scott and the piano wizardry of James Wood. Raised on a steady diet of classic RnB and jazz standards Ruthie developed a deep love for Ray Charles, Nina Simone, Etta James and Tom Waits to name a few. Hooking up with James their songs evoke visions of smokey basement clubs in the 1950's where beatniks and jazzheads would party. Add in a savvy rhythm section and a firing horn section and the Late Night Marauders present a unique blend of soul, R'n'B and boogie which is an irrepressible delight.

DAN WEBSTER BAND
Popular Yorkshire based singer-songwriter Dan Webster is a maverick in the folk music world, influenced by sounds and storytelling of American and British traditions, Americana and Rock and Roll. Dan has three albums to his credit; the latest hitting number 3 in Amazon's Folk Chart. Live, he inspires attention; pulling you into his work with finely crafted melodies and lyrics - delivered with a powerful, and honest vocal.

JESS GARDHAM
Multi ward winning singer/songwriter/Musician and actress Jess Gardham has now released her latest EP of original material called 'RISE NOT FALL' Her first album 'Beyond Belief' got rave reviews and Jess went on to be a songwriting finalist for BBC radio 2 with them saying that 'she is a songwriter to watch'. Her self penned songs have been played on BBC introducing and other radio stations throughout her musical career.

BOSS CAINE
Boss Caine is the main musical vehicle of hard living, permanently gigging, story telling, troubadouring, award winning, UK singer songwriter, Daniel Lucas. Like Tom Waits singing Ryan Adams if they had both had the good fortune to grow up in Yorkshire.

TENGU TAIKO DRUMMERS
Tengu will provide an exciting, dynamic and visual performance celebrating the Taiko, which literally means 'big drum' in Japanese. The drummers have gained a fantastic reputation for exhilarating performances, the energy created is truly immense.

*Lineup subject to late change.
